24Acres Opening Event
Sunday 1st June 2014 starting at 1.30pm on the 24Acres
This venture was first mentioned in the Parish Council minutes in July 2010 - well before the National Trust actually successfully purchased the land at the end of 2011. It was May 2012 when a formal lease agreement between the Parish Council and the National Trust was signed.
A lot has happened since then with 3 of the main 4 projects (the cricket pitch, the orchard and the woodland) all now completed with the manege to follow when funding is secured.
So now it is time to celebrate!
On the afternoon of Sunday June 1st there will be an opening event for Reach Villagers and their Invited Guests on the 24Acres, starting at 1.30 and finishing at around 6.00pm. This event is free to Reach Villagers, invited guests will be asked to pay £5 each.
