BUS SERVICE
Reach is served by the number 11 bus service, provided by Stephensons (click on the link to get to their website). There is no bus service on Sundays. Click here to download the timetable for the number 11 Bus.
Please also be aware of the following changes: New bus routes were scheduled to start on the 29th November, however Jonathan Cook, who is Chairman of our A to B1102 Group, in an email dated 18th November says: “I can update you all with regard to the changes to buses. To our collective frustration, as of this afternoon, the CPCA (Cambridge and Peterborough Combined Authority) are still unable to provide any further information as to whether the contracts for the revised / new services have been awarded or when those services will start. The Group has asked for updates weekly so that you have news as soon as it is available. The process has clearly been more complex / taken longer than was planned - as people will be aware from our earlier posts, the CPCA's last actual information share stated the services would start at the end of November. In our view, based on the statutory timetables which are built into the formal process the CPCA has to follow, it will be at least January before any changes actually take place. Rest assured, that as soon as there is news, we will post it.” On the start date, the No 11 will cease and be replaced by the T4 and T5 routes (see below). The No 12 and No 112 routes are unaltered. The Group is working with the CPCA to input on the proposed timetable - we are doing everything we can to lobby to ensure that the interchange wait times between buses on the new routes are as short as possible! Detailed maps and full timetables will be available in due course and we will post the info as soon as we have it.
