Why the party - what was the occasion?

No special reason, no occasion, it is just that the village loves Joyce and owes her a lot for all that she has done over many years.

The turnout was excellent - as you would expect and she really appreciated the event - she is a very special, lovely lady.

And no Joyce, we don't think you are "pegging out" - we just wanted to say thanks and we want you around for many years to come.
