The Queen's 90th Birthday Celebration

Thursday 21st April 2016 - starting from 7.30pm

The Events Team are arranging for a beacon to be lit on the Fair Green to celebrate the Queen's 90th birthday. To see the official document on these celebrations, which are taking place across the country, please click here.

The order of events will be as follows . . . .

7.30pm		Make your way to the Lower Green
7.45pm		The Beacon will be lit and Ross Clark will say a few words including a statement from Prince Charles
8.00pm		We will then have a toast - wishing the Queen a Happy Birthday - we encourage you to bring along your own fizz and glasses so you can all join in
Then		Our Time Capsule will be buried on the Green
And then, finally		All will be concluded and people can head home - or to our lovely pub
