REACH FAIR 2014

The Fair took place on the first May Bank Holiday which was Monday the 5th of May.

It started at midday with an opening ceremony on the Fair Green by the Mayor of Cambridge accompanied by the Aldermen in their full regalia and newly minted penny coins are scattered for the children.

The weather was superb and the attendance was excellent - enjoyed by all.

Pictures are below - if you have some of the day that you are proud of, please email them to me for inclusion.

1. It was a beautiful day and there were plenty of people waiting for the visiting dignitaries to formally open the 2014 Reach Fair

33. Hayley Radford
34.
35. Plenty of stalls on the playing field, this one selling handmade greetings cards with Cliff, Alison and Marilyn
36. There was the plate smashing stall too - but who's the aggressive-looking bloke at the back?
37. Its Rhys! - and now smiley Rhys with a pint in his hand (and one downed already by the look of it) - with wife Hannah and Muzzle
38. Various other shots of what was a lovely day . . . .

48. Sue Briscoe with overall organiser Grahame Radford
49. And there is Karen with granddaughter Millie
50. Jo Mules with dad Tom
51. And even with all that was on offer to amuse them, these kids played happily moving straw around - lovely
52. OK - a bit self-indulgent . . . . but if I ever need to rent my 2 bedroom place out I can legitimately say "sleeps 10"
