The memorial is a stone pillar on the Fair Green - erected to the memory of the men of Reach who died in the Great War 1914-1919

Charles CAMPS Pte 6th Yorkshire killed in action 17/1/1917 age 22. Commemorated: THIEPVAL MEMORIAL, Somme, France. Son of the late Mr. and Mrs. S. Camps, of Reach, Cambs; husband of Eliza Ethel Camps, of Crown Hall Farm, Burwell, Cambs.
[Warren] Ivan COOK Pte 11th Suffolks killed in action 1/7/1916. Commemorated: THIEPVAL MEMORIAL, Somme, France. Son of Adah Cook, of High St., Reach, Cambridge, and the late Robert Henry Cook.
C R CREEK Cpl 1/4 Lincs killed in action 2/5/1917. Buried: PHILOSOPHE BRITISH CEMETERY, MAZINGARBE, Pas de Calais, France.
Frederick J HATLEY Pte Machine Gun Corps killed in action 17/10/1916 age 21. Buried: DARTMOOR CEMETERY, BECORDEL-BECOURT, Somme, France. Son of John William Hatley, of Bull Cottage, Reach, Cambs.
Fred LONG Pte East Surrey killed in action 7/8/1918 age 23. Commemorated: POZIERES MEMORIAL, Somme, France. Son of Mrs. Emily Ann Long, of Blue House Farm, Prior Fen, Ely, Cambs.
Percy MILLARD Pte 11th Suffolks died of wounds 11/7/1916 age 20. Buried: ABBEVILLE COMMUNAL CEMETERY, Somme, France. Son of Saunders and Charlotte Millard, of Reach, Cambridge.
Arthur James MILLER L/Cpl 2nd West Yorks killed in action 10/3/1915. Commemorated: LE TOURET MEMORIAL, Pas de Calais, France.
Alfred WHITMORE Pte 11th Suffolks killed in action 1/71916 age 24. Commemorated THIEPVAL MEMORIAL, Somme, France. Son of Mrs. B. Whitmore, of Alms Houses, Swaffham Prior, Cambs.
